Pretty Rain Clouds and Blue Chevron

Hello and happy Thursday! 

As I mentioned in an earlier post and I have been busy putting the finishing touches on Layla's "big girl" room and recently started on Hadley's nursery.   I needed to repaint all the doors and trim white since it was a hideous unattractive shade of beigey/brown. 


I just started to move the furniture into the nursery and was able to finish up the mobile that will be hanging over her crib.

Along with finishing the girls' rooms Scott and I are also gearing up to host Thanksgiving this year for a whopping 15 people (yikes!).  And since we didn't have a big enough dining table we bought a new one last week (will post more pix of it next week once the chairs (craigslist score) are finished being painted).  The table was looking kinda lonely so I was super excited to find a really inexpensive 8' x 11' blue chevron rug for $127 (with a 40% coupon code)!!  

Love the way the blue and cream pattern looks with the dark rustic table!

Can't wait to add the chairs and share the completed look with you all!
