It is the perfect accompaniment for soup or salad. Great for breakfast or just when you need a little snack.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup light brown sugar
2 large or 3 small ripe bananas
1/2 cup melted butter
2 cups sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a large loaf pan.
Sift flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, baking soda.
Mash bananas and sugars (white and brown)
Add butter, egg, milk, and vanilla.
Stir in the dry ingredients.
Spoon into loaf pan.
Bake for 1 hour or until done.
