All you need (serving for 2):
2 tuna steaks
small bag of pistachios
salt/pepper
olive oil
All you have to do:
Open the pistachios, place them in a plastic bag, and crush them with the flat side of a meat tenderizer or a rolling pin.
Brush both sides of the tuna with olive oil. Salt and pepper, and cover with the pistachios. You may have to use your hand to be sure that both sides are covered completely.
Heat oil in a fry pan on medium high. Add the tuna when the oil is hot.
Fry to your individual taste. We like our centers rare, so we only cook about 3 1/2 minutes per side.
Serve with a tossed salad and individual monkey bread for a perfect meal!
