Easy Rice Krispies, Peanut Butter, and Pretzel Cake

Peanut butter and chocolate have to be one of my absolute favorite combinations!
I added just a few more ingredients, and I think I have a quick solution for a salty and sweet craving!

1 stick unsalted butter
1 cup peanut butter, smooth or chunky
1 1/2 cups chopped prezels
1 cup Rice Krispies
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 tablespoons peanut butter

Pulse pretzels in a food processor or crush them in a plastic bag with a rolling pin

Melt butter and peanut butter in a microwave until melted (about 1 minute)
In a medium bowl, mix the pretzels and Rice Krispies.  Add the melted butter and peanut butter, and stir until well combined.
Spread evenly into a greased pie plate, and put into the refrigerator for an hour.

Microwave the chocolate chips and the 3 tablespoons of peanut butter.  Spread evenly over the Rice Krispies layer.
Refrigerate for another hour.
Cut into slices and serve.
