It seems like around 2pm each day I feel myself slowing down a bit. So now, instead of gulping down a diet Coke for a quick (but short) caffeinated energy boost, I mix up an all natural smoothie!
I always experiment with different combinations and this chocolaty concoction is definitely one of the best ones I have come up with!
Ingredients:
6oz Almond Milk
1 frozen banana
1/2 tbsp coconut oil
2 handfuls of baby spinach
1/2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (I like Ghirardelli)
1/2 tbsp honey or agave syrup
Water (optional - if needed to cover ingredients)
Ice (optional if your banana isn't frozen)
Blend well and enjoy!

That looks delicious but I would have to use different milk because I'm allergic to Almonds.
