Pinterest Challenge Friday - Fabric Christmas Tree

Thanks to Kendra, I have definitely gotten hooked on pinterest. So many craft ideas, recipes, printables located in just one place!

When I was looking at Christmas tree ideas, I remembered some vintage fabric I had stored ~ actually curtains that use to hang in my mother's home.

My fabric tree is based on this pin, but I changed it slightly.
I used pinking shears to cut my fabric in 13 strips ranging from 3 1/2 inches to 3/4 inch.  Using pins I attached the strips to the Styrofoam tree.  I hot glued several small ribbon bows, and my project was complete.

I love the results, and the vintage fabric brings back so many memories!

That is adorable! Love it :) I might try it myself, if I have some spare time between now and Christmas!
